Friends

A 3 bed mid terraced ex council house.

At present it hast cast iron gutters & down pipes (1 at front & rear)

So, any thoughts about a price to remove all & replace with black plastic?

I've a price in mind but in not sure if it's too cheap (or expensive!)

It's in Slough (Royal) Berkshire.

Cheers

Rct

i think with removing cast iron downpipes/soilpipes it could vary a lot depending on how safety conscious you think it's justified to be.

days wages plus materials , poss 2 days to be on the safe side

pain in the arse job up and down the bloody ladder like a yo yo, good thing is the gear is cheap or it was last time i did one about twenty years ago

Twenty years ago I used to charge 3.00 perm and 45.00 per downpipe the job on original post would have taken two of us hour and half inc scaffold I used cripples (ladder spans) so job would have been
app 125.00 inc materials I was doing loads and got materials next to nothing these jobs were good earners especially if you threw a upvc fascia board on too for an extra 50.00 each if I as doing it now would want 350.00..brum
