Halstead ace high 2mbr

Hi, My first post but been browsing for a while. went to a halstead ace high today and couldnt for the life of me get a burner pressure higher than 2mbr DHW and Ch. tried faffing around with the pcb potentiometers but to no avail, (Empty house must have been working for the last 8 odd years). i think gas valve not going to high flame ? also the divirter valve is leaking from almost every seal.. Just a bit of a knowledge builder would be nice from you folks.:wink5:

its knackered you need a new dv and investigate the gas supply fault or a new boiler

Agree with gasman, and wait until you get the prices for the spare parts as you will find that they are some of the dearest around for a poor quality boiler. A new boiler would be a better option.

Thanks for the replies. I priced the dv and gas valve and including vat and labour he was half way to a new boiler. Safe to say he doesnt want it fixed but wants a price for a 'cheap' new boiler, When will people learn....Thanks again.
