Halstead best 60 no central heating

A bit of advice please. I am new to this gas job and i have virtually no fault finding experience.
I have been asked to look at a halstead boiler that isnt firing up for ch it will fire when there is a call for dhw. the room stat seems to be calling for heat, the pump and diverter valve are seperate to the boiler. it has a 3 port dv . the pump works.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Found problem synchron motor on dv faulty.
