halstead combi gives hot water, but once its been used, until we run off some more water it wont give us any hot water. then when its cooled it gives us hot water, but then the same thing happens, any ideas guys?

i could be wrong because of your explanation but it sound like you have hot water in the pipe from last time, then it goes cold as it has only just fired up and then it heats back up?

Not a lot to go on here. What is the boiler doing when running the tap and what model is this?
