Not cheap enough to warrant me trying one, They do seem to have some good bits in them though.

they come with a 5yr warranty as well, our installation side is approved installer for dimplex, but TBH havent heard much about the boilers, which may mean they are fine as they arent causing us too much hassle

I've fitted 3 now, all combi's.

I will say I would not have touched an Halstead with a large todger, but I'm very impressed with the Dimplex.

As an Installer The main things are of course quaility, followed by a good back up service and a 5 year warranty tells me they believe in their product.

I used to Install Worcester (I was a Bi installer for worcester.) There back up is secound to none, but I don't believe the quality is as good as it used to be.

I fit 2 makes now. Top end its Viessman and lower end it's Dimplex.

Well whats the chance of that!, Iam fitting a Dimplex for a customer tommorow,( £650 ish with clock and flue btw)

Il take some pics, Iam half temptemted not to post them, youl all know then that I talk a good job but cant/wont do one.
Il get the correct price too.

look mate you dont need to discuss who you sleep with at work

to much plastic for my liking there will be tears

Gas man

I'm not sure we are talking about the same boiler. I had to remind myself at PTs that it really is not that plastic at all. What is it about the boiler you say is too plastic?

cant remember the model,it was a dimplex with a stainless heat exchanger all the water ways and hydolics were plastic they had it on display for ages

Got talking to an engineer

Who told me he does all boler across the board.
He subs for Dimplex as he does for other manufactuers. He recons he get les call backs on the Dimplex than anything else.

He actually thought they had stopped using him a t one stage as he was not getting called out.

I fit these boilers.First one i ever fitted had a hairline fracture in the gas cock!!drop on the gas test.rang them up,they were honest with me and said they had a bad batch and sent some one out that evening and replaced it!!
