heat Interface Unit??

In all my years I've rarely come across them!

Just tendering for a shop fit at Embassy Gardens nr Battersea and the spec mentions it needs a HIU, but thats it, no further information? Its only going to do hot water as far as I know, and its for a small salon thats opening. Anyone got a recommendation as to what to use?
