Recently called out to repair this boiler few weeks ago, same problem no hot water. On demand the boiler fired and stayed lit but no hot water, was advised to change the temp stat, this worked fine for 3 week, homeowner recently had a short holiday and returned to no hot water again but this time on demand boiler dosnt fire up, ch is fine any ideas?

your supposed to test the item not guess and throw parts at it im not familiar with this boiler but try following the manufacturers fault finder
does it fire for heating? does pump run does fan run ?

Not quilty of guessing and throwing parts at it steve, climb down from your high horse, the only thing im guilty of is being less experienced than you! heat line tec and the manual fualt finder both directed me to the flow sensor and ive had no joy. so if any more experienced fellow members would like to help me as this is the idea of this very helpful forum id be very grateful as im not in the habbit of throwing parts at boilers and hoping for the best!

if you have replaced two parts with no effect thats what we mean by throwing parts at it both those parts are esily tested to see if they work and by the way im not the one jangling spurs no matter how high my horse is

Morning Steve, you have misread my first post, or maybe i wasnt clear with what i posted, I repaired the boiler on my 1st visit, i tested it and replaced a broken thermister, on my 1st visit 3 weeks ago i said it was same probem (no hot water) but on that occassion the boiler fired on demand, Now on this occasion owner has had a weekend away come back to no hot water again, this time i rang technical, reason was conflicting advice from my usual very switched on parts dealer, now both heat line tec and the manual i had to download both indicated flow sensor but this hasnt worked.

I was always in the belief those that janggled spurs from any height of a horse were not on the Gas Safe register, and were not the sort to use a proffessional forum for guidence to get the job done professionally.
