Hi all

I've posted in this other thread (see below) about some potential issues with the heating system and radiators installed in my new build property. I have now spoken with the builder who has assured me the spec is what they use in all their homes and that they employ a specialist heating company to do the necessary calcs. They have said they're not sure what else they can do for me, so I have told them I'll be getting my own analysis done.

I'm in Pudsey, Leeds, and am looking for someone to perform radiator sizing/boiler output calcs independently so that I can see if the current system is adequate for my home. Since moving in on 11 December I've used over 2000KWh of gas and whilst I've been at home more (due to the Christmas period) it's not exactly been freezing outside either. They profess to be a high end local builder, hence why I was expecting my B energy efficient home to be fairly cheap to run.

I have asked them to provide the U value and ideally their own radiator sizing calcs, which I have not yet received but will chase up later on today.

I presume someone would need to visit the property to do more accurate room sizing calculations. I would ideally like this sorting out as soon as possible so if there is anyone on here that would like to take on this small project, I would be grateful if you could contact me via PM.

Thanks, and happy new year!

Sean

Other post contains approx room measurements, radiator sizes and boiler details but let me know if there's any other information you'd need to take this forwards.
