Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have a Baxi bermuda 552 back boiler that runs a one pipe heating system and fire.(hot water is on a separate system). I have removed the fire front so i could make good the chimney breast. Whilst removing a stud wall to the side of the chimney i have managed to pull out some wiring to the timer switch, boiler and spur. I am not totally to blame as the person who wired it in originally decided to 'tape' some of the wiring to the stud wall leaving me to 'take it out'?

Basically the timer, thermostat, pump, boiler and lighting to the fire surround need wiring in.

All the wires are there, they just need connecting properly.

I have spoken with a local heating engineer who tells me i need to get an electrician to wire the boiler back in before he can refit the fire front? (who has now disappeared!):sad3:

After speaking with a local electrician he tells me that a heating engineer is needed??

I have contacted a couple of local electricians who have yet to appear?

So? Who do I need for this type of job?

Is this a pain in the back side job that no one really wants to take on?(hence the lack of enthusiasm from the electricians i have contacted?)

Is there anyone interested in the Plymouth area who would be able to sort this for me? (cash waiting)
Feel free to reply or to PM me on 07775752424

Many Thanks

I have no sympathy for you. You should of never removed the fire as it is a gas item and you have endangered everybody that lives in your house and the vicinity of your house

But a good heating engineer will be able to fix this. There are some part p heating engineers that will be able to help

My best advice in the mean time is to isolate all of your gas by turning it off at the meter and contacting a gas safe registers enginner to come and see if the installation is safe!

The fire front was removed by the heating engineer mentioned and everything isolated by him. Now he has vanished and left me with no fire or heating!!

Trying to find the right person to get it sorted for me?

Not what you said in your original post!

Anyways trouble with the electrical side is that most sparks don't have a clue when it comes to controls, even though it's pretty straightforward.

Sorry. i know i didnt mention.Trying to get as much info across in as possible without sounding too confusing?

So i need a heating engineer that can do the electrics for me to?

Yes a good heating engineer can kill two birds with one stone, sort your fire out and the wiring.
