Hi fellas, been a member for a few months, regular viewer of the forum think the cracks great. Mostly install and service but do a few breakdowns but am totally baffled by this one today...problem with a heatline, make demand for heating or hot water boiler will fire up but wont sense the flame, keeps sparking stays on for about 10 secs the goes to flame failure. I've seen this fault on other boiler makes (especially 105's) and has always been rectification fault with the board or swapping flame sensing electrode and lead over. I've tried this with the heatline and still no joy (the parts are extortion!!!) finally it isnt fuse spurred just wired to plug, so i tested polarity with socket tester and all fine. Dont no what to try next!!

any feedback would be much apprieciated.

Thanks Chris

Pressume the plug is also wired correctly.
As the gas ignites , Are the pressures correct at ignition ?
Worth ringing Heatline 01773 596 099

basically do a continuity test on your detection probe and lead, check for reversed polarity, if you can rule both these faults out pcb has failed
