Evening all,
Bit of a novice question for you all...
The PRV on my Heatline (I know!) C28 boiler is causing the system to lose pressure. I'm sure it's this (constant leaking from the drainage pipe), and as a side note I've checked the expansion vessel which is ok. I've got the replacement part, and I think when I get it in place the system should keep pressure, but can't get the nut that holds the drainage pipe undone!
The manual says nothing else needs to be removed to get this undone, but I'm struggling for space/access to get a spanner in (short adjustable one), and I've also tried a pair of vise-grip locking pliers.
Am I (as an amateur) missing a tool that makes this job easy? Or am I just missing ability?!
I could really do with a tip from someone who's maybe been through this before, as I'm getting nowhere!
Thanks in advance,
Alan.
