Hi ,I'm new to this forum so hello to other forum users.
My heatslave oil boiler burner always stays on and fires up when we hot water but always stays on even when the boiler is not being used , I did have a lock out about a month ago but restarted when reset was pushed but this problem appeared about 5" days ago and we have to switch off the boiler completely to stop the continual running without ignition, any advice would be welcome,Cheers

Hello and welcome. Just wondering have you different heat zones? In other words, - do you have a heating zone for one floor and a second for another floor, for example? Just to rule out motorised valves

Just reread your post. If running continuously without ignition, you need an oil engineer to take a look at it. Fault at the boiler for sure

Hi,the boiler is about 20 years old and was last serviced about 2 years ago ,I'm normally pretty good at repair/replace parts ...I took off control unit and the blower is still on ,however on the plus side we still have hot water and central heating, I just hate when I can't repair things myself!

None of these things ,however the burner ignites when required , but the burner won't won't switch off,it can't be rocket science ,but if you say I need a flue gas anaylser and oil pressure gauge then I'm snookered!

pop corn, pop corn, front seats are all reserved, please call booking office for availablity, no mods allowed until friday's show :)

Please get someone in who knows what they're doing.

Thinking it's not rocket science tells me you're unaware of your limitations or the ramifications that fiddling can have.

Without the proper tools or the knowledge to interpret the readings places you and your family in danger every time you fiddle.
