Just thought i would say hello to all of you out there from South Wales....
Took my City and Guilds many years ago with the idea of setting up on my own but got a job in the local steelworks (hence the name)
Still work on boilers but now they are big industrial ones up to 127 bar steam ...like i said big is the word ..Burn lots of industrial gas and generate lots of steam ...
Feel free to ask about them ...most use the same process as a household boiler just keep the heat going in build pressure to generate steam ...
Not too good with computers so sorry if i do not get back to you strait away ...

Welcome Steelman , sounds like superheated stuff !

I have to ask is it plumbed up in steel , or something more fancy ?

(keep it sketchy enough - so of no use to home bodgers ! )

Welcome to the forum's steelman........regards Turnpin:welcome:

Hello and welcome

Hello and welcome, sounds like fun sheep and steam. Seriously,
Would have loved to have worked on a project like yours

Thanks for the welcome,,,sorry for getting back sooner. Told u I was not good on computers .....will try and sort it out ...work 12 hr shifts and travel 45 mins there and back so it tends to be all work ,driving and sleeping for 4 or 5 days then collapse .....But I love it so it's worth it.

Any pics of the stuff you work on ?

Will try and get some pics. But putting them on screen should be a laugh. Still have a go. U never know. Thanks again for the welcome.
