Hi I'm one of the newbies half way through training with Able Skills (who by the way are fantastic), after spending 25 years in the rail industry. I and am so looking forward to a new career and new challenges. My mother in law hasn't got over the shock as yet!!! Would love to hear from any new female plumbers!! What have your experiences been like through training and beyond!

Hi Zumanity :) Welcome in ... I'm a bloke last time i checked so can't help you out regards female plumbers. i have had a couple of lasses in the passenger seat with me learning the ropes who went on to employment! Both for the local authority!

welcome aboard there are a few females on here who will i'm sure will help.

Hello Zumanity, I did my c&g 6129 @ Able last March/April, say hello to Jim and Toby for me, tell them the French ex Para said yoh and that he'll be back in September to do his Gas courses, cheers and fair play to you, a lady did her 6129 on the same course as me, pretty handy she was too so best of luck with it and remember, your not allowed to call a 'stopcock' a stopcock' anymore, its a 'screw down stop valve' now, another example of pc gone mad...!!!
