Hi, my name is Lian, have completed the C&G 6129 tech cert, not another chancer i hear you want to type, but have spent a bit of time with a friend ( proper qualified ) doing bathroom room installs etc so had a rough idea, after just completed the course i know my limitations so i don't intend to start taking on job's outside my scope and bodging them so going to start off with stuff i feel confident doing ( not lead welding ), have recently moved to hertfordshire, a very hard water area ive found out, not like S Wales. Been asked to fix a water de-scaler, what a split on opinions as to whether they actually work in the 1st place but a friend as had a very expensive kitchen fitted and the manufacturer ZIP as recommended a brita filter to protect the kitchen and the rest of the property, the only one's i can see seem to be for professional use and for specific applainces, some advise would be apperricated. Many thks

Hi Liam

Welcome to the forums,hope you enjoy
:)

The filter recommended is this

[DLMURL="http://www.becktech.co.uk/brita_06bc.php"]Becktech Limited - BRITA AquaQuell 06-BC[/DLMURL]

It does come under their professional line but only around £70-£80 and if customer having a zip fitted,this should be well within their budget

imho
