Hey everyone, just found this website through google and thought ild sign up. Im 21 and ive nearly finished my NVQ2 and already have the gas certs. Only problem is so far is finding anyone to give me and experience on site. Ive been working with a guy local to me for a few months but he can only give me 1-2 days a week if im lucky.

Anyone here know of any plumbers looking for someone to have work with them? Im based in Southampton but ill travel anywhere for work! I think I may have my NVQ3 course for free through eastleigh college due to being through ATL but them messing me around for a year. Got a car so travelling is no problem too.

Finding someone to take you on is proving to be a pain in the bum considering im 21, were they have to pay more for the course. But if i do get it for free then it shouldnt be a problem?

Thanks for the read guys! Cheers!

Tyler.

Hi tyler!
I'm 21 too so I know what boat you're in.
Ask local training centres and plumbing merchants if you can put flyers in. Sadly you're gonna have to offer to work for free to get your foot in the door.
Plug away and stay active on this forum, its a great knowledge base and yo can get help with everything plumbing wise, for gas you either have to be gas safe or be close to it. Good luck !!! Oh and offer weekly trials or day trials for free. And don't be a div, leave your phone in the car unless told!

have a chat with our favourite sponsor to put out feelers, they have lots of merchants near you, one definitely in Fareham
