Rie

I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Marie. but you can call me Rie. I'm 35 yrs young and have just completed C&G level 1 in plumbing & heating at Yorkshire coast college in scarborough.
My college has now changed the course to the EAL level 2 access to building services engineering. not sure if this will pay off yet, we'll see...
I am the oldest student in my class as the others are all 16-18 and I'm hoping to find some adult company for conversations with other like minded people. Hence the reason for joining this forum :smiley2:

Welcome Rie. I'm really not that sure about the adult conversation part, but hey - you never know. :)

<blows raspberry>

And there are cures for being from Yorkshire as well. Can I recommend either the M1 or the A1(M)? Both southbound, obviously.

Hello and welcome Rie. I'm so glad you said adult and not mature. Some of us are quite old but not many act like grown ups...

Can`t think of one at the moment mas ... adult & grown up all the time eh? ........ nope none spring to mind.

Never mind Rie, welcome along and the only daft question is the one you don`t ask!

Welcome Rie, that's a great choice for a decent forum anything you want to know just simply ask there dozens of great engineers who are willing to help. Do not be shy and ask.

Hi Rie. Welcome aboard. We do occasionally have mature conversations

If ever you feel like smothering your parents there's a good few of us will stand up as witnesses to say that you were somewhere else completely.

Mind you, the chances of getting us all to agree on the same place are pretty remote.

Get some crackin fish and chips at Scarborough.
When i lived in hull used to whip up there on the motorbike...

welcome along rie,even though i am welsh i feel i should stand up for those from Yorkshire ,they are some of the nicest people i have ever met or had dealings with,so its not all true
