Hi all,

We have recently moved house and approx 3 years ago the previous owners had a new boiler and hot water storage cylinder fitted.

Boiler: Vaillant ecotec plus 418
Storage cylinder: Ariston Classico STI 125 HE unvented hot water storage cylinder installed in the loft

It was my understanding that an unvented water cylinder such as the above should be giving mains hot and cold pressure throughout the house. No need for shower pumps etc.
The issue we have is that the hot water pressure is shockingly bad. Eg. Running any hot tap and the pressure drops to a trickle after a couple of seconds, the shower will stop if another tap is run etc etc.

Im surprised that it is like this given the newness of the kit. Is it possible that some flow control has been installed? Or maybe there is some fault with the install or kit? Any advise much appreciated.

Thanks, Iain.
