Hi,

If any one can help it would be most appreciated. Our house is like a sauna, but we cannot have a shower!!

The central heating stays on regardless of thermostat, but there is no hot water. If you turn the central heating off on the timer and only leave the hot water on, the central heating stays on, but still no hot water.

This problem started about a 2 months ago, and if you reset the timer it seemed to fix the problem. At the time a heating engineer friend who looked at it said that everything seemed to be working as it should, but I replaced the timer unit like for like Honeywell ST9400C progammer (the new one doesn't have a reset button on it!)

It has been ok up until this week and now nothing works to reset it. Someone suggested it could be a 2 port valve problem. Is this correct? and if so how do you fix it?

Thanks

if you have a 2 port or 3 port set up the port may not be working and stuck depenging on the make of the valve you can change the head over without draining the system
