Hi every time the overbath shower is used water is getting underneath. I have already tried filling the bath with water and using a good silicon and letting it set. The bath seems to move about 10mm when stepping in and this bursts the silicon. Are there any other solutions? What about Teleseal or Byretech?

sounds like you need to fix the bath to the walls properly. what is the bath made from? if there are wooden battens under the edges of the bath it should be relatively easy to fix some brackets between the bath and the wall to prevent the movement. oh and welcome to the forums.

I had this recently on a shower tray/enclosure. It turned out water had been leaking down the side of the tray for quite some time and the wooden support/frame and joists underneath were all rotten.

The original problem there, however, was a missing RSJ, which allowed the floor and walls to move. Still, after 500 years the place is still standing. ;)
