Hi. I have wanted this issue resolved since we moved in 6 years ago.

INFO
-Unvented tribune premier
Expansion vessel full of air at 2.5psi
-Gush of water when bath tap on then reduces to normal
-Towel rail in bathroom plumbed into partly central heating circuit
-dont think there is an air bubble at top of tank and cant get air back in cylinder
-think the shower is taking excess pressure out of cylinder?
-shower pressure and all taps pressure consistent at all times regardless of kitchen tap issue
-hot water in downstairs bathroom no problems
-hot water in kitchen has lower pressure
-when we have hot water, pressure might be slightly higher
-hard to tell hot water pressure

DETAILS
-No hot hot water in kitchen tap
-situation was fine after the system had been off for a week as we went away all of a sudden problem resolved after 5.5 years.
-we have 2in1 shower..normal and rainforest..
-shower causing the fault 100% as lost hot water(only warm) in kitchen after using shower as shower hardly used.

You need a G3 qualified plumber to work on your unvented cylinder or associated controls. It is illegal for anyone else to do that.
Your pressure readings are wrong and also shouldn't be done unless by a G3 plumber.
Your kitchen tap might be faulty, or have a blockage in pipe feeding it

Hi. Thx for the reply. What pressure is wrong?
I think there is a blockage as well, but why the shower affecting the issue?
Was hoping for a g3 reply at some stage but couldn't post this on unvented forum.

i would disconnect the hot kitchen tap pipe and drain it into a bucket does it get hot if you problem with the tap

Not sure if G3 part of this forum is operating, but is only open to G3 plumbers anyway.
I am G3 qualified, but I can't give advice on unvented repairing or servicing as it is illegal for you to do work as I earlier said and could be dangerous. Unvented cylinders can explode.
Just get the unit serviced (should be serviced once a year for safety and warranty of normally 25 years). A G3 plumber would probably sort it all easily for you.

Quote needed as well.

Sorry for misleading you. This forum seems to now have the 'Looking for a Plumber' part of forum removed for some reason that I don't know.
Hopefully some G3 here local to you will read your thread.
Would be hard to quote though, other than basic service or hourly rate, as work needed unknown
