Hi Friends

Been away for a while, returned home to a small issue.

Not really bothering me, well, it is but nothing major, no loss of life!

My toilet, been in for about 8 years, all good, seems to be filling sporadically.

MMMM.... after flush, it fills, but then I can hear it fill a little more, and again, again etc.

Any ideas? limescale? just fills again and again for maybe 2/3 seconds, then stops, flushes OK, no internal overflow that I notice.

Cheers friends, I look forward to getting back to the forum.

Thanks

Rocket.

Sounds like you have a blockage in ball valve or the diafram washer needs replaceing, simple repair i if unsure just replact ball-valve.

Thanks for you reply.

Just had the lid off the top, maybe should have done it before!

there was a brittle broken rubber washer at the bottom i fished out, it's a dual flush system with buttons on top.

I've tinkered with it and it seems to be fixed!

If It goes again I'll replace the siphon side of the part (i.e. when it fills from not the flush part).

Thanks again for your reply
