When the warmer weather comes, I'm going to change the radiator in the hall, as it's a single panel and doesn't give out much heat.

I think it's a Myson as it's an oddball size of 930mmx530mm and it would be good if I can put a Myson convector in as a straight swap. I'm measuring the width where the valves enter the radiator - is this point thats quoted normally?

i doubt if youll get a straight swop this is an imerial size and all(?) rads are now metric sizes
length wise youll get a 900mm long andyou can get radvalve extensions to make up the difference
hight will be either 500 or 600 so unless its under a shelf or similar go for the 600
biggest problem will be the distance from the wall that the pipes come out of the floor this can be as nuch as 50 mm further out for a double compared to old single rads and may require the pipes moving

930mm x 530mm thats 37" x 21" in old money The Myson Premier are the old Thorn roll top style rads and they still do imperial sizes in 12", 15", 21" and 27", normally dont have to move or change the brackets. take a look here for sizes and outputs:Radiators - Traditional Panel Radiators - Page 1
