Hi, can someone have a look at my letter please to see if im heading the right direction, generally im sending out letters to various companies i have only copied the main body of the letter, any advise will be appreciated. Thanks

As a school leaver I am looking to gain a career in the Plumbing and Gas Industry and have always been interested in learning about older installations, working towards combination boilers, up to the current condensing boilers being installed today.

I am currently attending ****** College studying NVQ Level 1/2 Plumbing course; I am looking for an apprenticeship or part-time work to fit around my course. I am an ambitious individual and I recognise that gaining practical experience can add weight to any technical or theoretical learning that I am undertaking.

I have enclosed my CV detailing my recent qualifications and training.

If you have any questions for me then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully

Sounds Ok craig. You will probably need your own public liability insurance so it would perhaps be sensible to add to your letter that you are willing to take this out.

Best of luck.

Hey Craig,

Just a little thing to bare in mind, if you're not on the apprenticeship scheme, you won't be studying the National Vocational Level 1 & 2 qualification but rather just 'Level 1 & 2 Diploma in Plumbing' or something along those lines.

That's what I got told anyway, if it's different round your ways or if you know otherwise do tell me because it's confusing as hell..

That's right if you haven't got an employer it will be level 1 or 2 in plumbing studies. I don't know what level 1 is called but level 2 is called 6035
