Help with gas NVQ level 3 portfolio

I'm nearing the end of my NVQ level 3 gas maintenance course and i need to complete my portfolio. This includes proof of servicing cookers and meters(photographic evidence). I need to accompany a gas safe engineer on four jobs and tightness test, fault find and do gas rates etc. I do not want paying i just need the experience so any gas engineer willing to help me please reply. I'm reliable and punctual.

The four jobs are to show you have work place experience which also includes a write up for each one. The learning is on the course (36 weeks) one day theory one day practical per week. I've passed the practical assessment which wasn't easy. May i ask what you did to become a qualified gas engineer?

Yep same as what I had to do, proof of working on 4 separate gas jobs... This is only for the portfolio. Load of crap really but has to be done to get the ticket.

Iv helped a couple local guys with this before. Most get let go towards the end of their apprenticeship, its no trouble at all. Where are you based? Might be worth asking around at merchants.
