I have a Baxi Bermuda gas back boiler - approx 15 years old

Had not problems with hot water all summer, however when the weather turned colder and I have turned the central heating on the radiators are just getting warm at the top and not hot at all.

Now the hot water coming out of the taps is nowhere near as hot as it was before and runs out very quickly (not even enough to run a bath). I had to switch a valve on the hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard off "auto" to get any water at all.

The central heating pump (replaced 18 months ago) used to be able to hear that going round but can't now so I presume there is something wrong with this.

I can feel very hot water in the pipes going in to the hot water tank and into the pump and I can hear can the boiler is firing up okay.

Really getting worried now as the weather is turning nasty!! :veryangry2:

Look under the fire at the boiler and you will see an orange dial with numbers on it. What is it set to?
The higher the number the hotter it will get.

Anything else i'm afraid you may have to get someone to look at it.

Check that the small tank in the loft has water in it, sometimes the ball valve sticks.
