Hi everyone. Hope someone can help!?

Normally I dry my hand at basic diy and call in the experts if it's above my skillset.

I've changed radiators before. Last time I got an airlock, bled the rads and in the end a valve leading into the water tank did the trick.

Changed another one today, swapping for a towel rad. Have hot water, both water tanks small and large are full, have bled the rads and the water tank valve from before - lots of air from the water tanks valve and the towel rad. But no joy this time!

Any advice much appreciated! Will call someone in tomorrow if need be - kids at home so can't have the house freezing cold but really frustrated as I've done this job before!

Hello Grant,
are all motorised valves in the open position to bleed the system?
does the pump need bleeding?
are there any bleed screws anywhere that need opening?
is there no heat flowing at all?

dont worry too much, its going to be warm next week.lol.

where abouts are you as some one on here may be able to sort it if you are struggling?.

I've opened the pump (having shut everything down) and water has come out, so should be bled. Can't see any other valves other than one which leads from the pump and eventually goes into the water tank - this was the valve which solved the air lock last time. This time loads of air came out but hasn't done the trick.

Not sure what else I should be bleeding to be honest having bled this valve, the pump and all the rads. Nope, no heat flowing anywhere. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help!

I'm in Fife, Scotland. Will call someone out if need be because I don't want the house to get too cold for the kids but hoping I can fix this like last time. Thanks!

the motorised valves, (brass body, metal or plastic rectangle shaped top ) depends on the way the system is set up, you might have a 3 port or 1 or 2 2 port valves.
these have a lever on the side, you can move it open to help bleed air out.

There's a metal box in the water cupboard, has wires going into it and a lever at the bottom. Is this the one? Thanks!

Well tried that. At the same time saw a black cylinder (small) which has 'constant flow regulator' on it. There's a screw on that which pushes down. So pushed that down and one way or another, hot water in the rads! Thanks for the help!!
