I have bought 3 tavistock toilets from Plumbpoint in Middlesborough. 1 is installed and leaking slightly. It hasn't been removed yet but on inspection it doesn't seem to be the pipes and appears to be coming from the bottom of the wc pan. We (the fitter and myself) have looked at the other 2 toilets and have discovered the bottom of the pans have a small filled area which has been painted over and is in a different part of the pan on each wc (1 is short projection). Does anyone know if this is from the manufacturing process or have I been sent wc's that have been repaired. Fitter hasn't used Tavistock toilets before so we are not quite sure.
