Hi all im John age 29. Iv been working as a joiner for the past 13 years on site, im after a career change. I finished a plumbing course around 12 months ago, and since then iv been fitting bathroom, plumbing kitchens, repair works and helped out on a few boiler installs with a friend of mine who works at helplink. Im wanting to train as a gas engineer but dont want to break the bank balance in the process. Iv been looking at courses with companies like Brookhouse Training but in all fairness I dont think it cuts the mustard. Im after some hands on training with someone. If anyone can point me in the right direction id really appreciate it. I live in Rotherham South Yorkshire and dont mind traveling to gain the skills. Iv got my own van and tools. Im more than happy to work free of charge for anyone willing to take me under their wing and help me out. Thanks for your time and HOPE someone can Help me. Thanks

Just wondering why the career change mate?
Joiner is a good trade in itself..?!

Been a joiner is a good job your right but i knew from the start it wasnt for me (my uncle is a joiner and I was kind of pushed into it), but iv never been in a position to do anything about it until now. Thanks for the reply
