hi i am new to this forum , actually to entire plumbing field but looking forward to start the a course soon for career change.
I am bit confuse about school , like which 1 to choose ? should i do 1 year from local college in which they do level 1 and 2 for £1500 roughly or from academes who say they will make me a certified plumber in 12 weeks intensive course and cost more than 6 grands.

Would really appreciate if i can get some help in understanding these courses and demand in real market for it .

Don't believe them - you CANNOT be a recognised plumber from a 12 week course! You need AT LEAST the NVQ Level 2 as well which is mainly experience and on-the-job assessment.
