i did that to the system earlier and thats how i got it to work i was wondering why when the thermostat gets switched off and then later turned back on why does the same thing happen

just air settling back to a slightly high point on the pipework

Fireblade m8 how can i remedy that or do i just have to keep shutting and opening the rads m8 is there a long term cure

Find the high point and fit an automatic bleed valve.
