Hi all,I'm Joe. I live in South ***bria and I'm training to be a plumber at BTSC Manchester. I've been wanting to get into plumbing for a long time now but being 35 meant that no local colleges would accept me, so I had to go down the training centre route. I'm enjoying my training though not enjoying the 6 weeks or so I have to wait between modules. Can't wait to get out there and start working but finding a plumber to work with is proving rather difficult as most guys seem to think that I'll be off as soon as I'm qualified, that or there just isn't enough work about to be able to take me on. Training is great and I love the practical side but there's nothing to substitute proper experience is there!!?
Well, that's me. There's some great advice on here which I'm sure will prove invaluable in my chosen career and I'll be visiting often for tips etc.
Hope to talk to more of you over my time visiting this forum.
