Hi everyone. Another newbie here. I recently finished a plumbing fast-track course (don't hate me, it was only a first step) and I'm working towards a total career change. I'm in the unlucky position (at 40) of knowing my job in IT is to end but lucky enough to have about another year before it actually happens.
The plan is to continue training while picking up small jobs for experience (isn't it funny how friends and family all suddenly have jobs they want doing for free?) and no doubt I'll be picking all of your brains from time to time.
