Hi,

Would like to introduce myself, name is Lucy - just recently moved into an apartment after a divorce, the ex was a builder so he did all the DIY.

Now I have set myself a challenge in my new home. I intend to try and do as much as possible, decorating etc., - although I know I will have to get the professionals in for electrics & plumbing.

I do however intend to learn as much as possible about certain projects - I don't want to appear fluffy and dumb when I get quotes. Look forward to participating in this forum.

just make sure you get two or three quotes then and have them written so you can compare then come to us for and questions
