Hi, I have an ideal Instinct boiler, its nearly 2 years old. I have started having problems with low pressure about a month ago.

Hi, I have a two year old Ideal Instinct boiler that has been problematic for about a month with low pressure. A plumber came out twice and reset it and it seemed ok but its started loosing pressure again a couple of days ago. He has been back and blown something up in the boiler which he thought would sort it but within half hour it had dropped again. It is currently working on continuous setting but it won't come on in automatic mode and I'm starting to get problems getting it started if I turn it off. The plumber is too busy to come back and going on holiday tomorrow so I'm in a lather as I need it sorting for Christmas!! there are no obvious leaks anywhere. any advice appreciated.

Outside there should be a copper pipe is this dripping should be directly external of the boiler

No it doesn't look like its dripping

As it’s a couple of years old and you can’t see anything best to call ideal out to check the boiler

Thanks I've rung them up and they are coming out next Tuesday. Hope my heating and hot water doesn't go off before then!! Thanks for the advice
