🙂 hi am new to the plumbing world i am looking for some advice on what you
recon is the best way to get started in the way of advertizing an so on
i know word of mouth is best but you gotta get those mouths talking first

any help would be very greatfull 🙂🙂🙂
 
i will get shot for this.................
put an add in paper for £20 per hour.

do 100 jobs then up it 50% another 100 then another 50%. then you know where you are.
 
but before you do that where do you live, if its north of the thames , great idea redsaw

im am from sudbury suffolk

so what do you recon more exp plumbers would charge for say a bathroom swap sink wc bath like for like

local paper, as you dont want to be waiting around a fortnight to a month when they come out do you. cost more but heyho.

£350 for a swap including all fittings, tell them or you can chuck it in for £200 if you prefer, to get rid of the chancers out there.

by trhe way i will be emigrating, possibly, to norfolk/suffolk in a few years and i will corner the market when i do as i will be charging £15 per hour needed to live on as i dont want to dip into my £1m retirement pot i earnt plumbing.

only 1mil? you must have you labour rates low?

average plumber wage at 80k means in 30 years 2.4mil!

i'm a fan of leaflet droppin

old peeps who plan on retiring in there home like bits done etc and it reminds them when a nice leaflet drops through the door
 
Give all in, reasonable set prices, be prompt and tidy work, make a good job and forget.

They will come to you, not you to them then probably.
 
right ordered the flyers booked the add comes out next thursday just gotta hope now
 
try [DLMURL="http://www.designsmart.biz"]Design Smart[/DLMURL] or PowerPrintWorld for decent flyers or cards or handouts. We used them (they are the same company) with good results and prices: quality, which says a lot about you and your standards to the customer. Don't know if I am allowed to post this or not in case it's breaching some sort of rule . So if it is, apologies to moderators - doubtless you will pull the reply.

thank you have emailed them for a price got a design back and with a price of 55 squids 1/3 of an A4 sheet colour
 
well advert comes out tommrow and i pick up my leaflets also so here gose.......
