well i just had a look and the former and the hook look just like a normal bender. so is it just a case of a wider channel to allow the plastic coated to sit in the former and the guide?

has anyone actually tried bending plastic coated in a normal bender?

Didn't realise it was for plastic coated when I bought it.

Works well but only had use for it twice, normal benders rip the coating apart.

Just nick the formers and guides off the sparks conduit bender. Does the same job
