Hi all.

Ive just spoken to the mortgage lady and she's told me what I need to bring to her for mortgage advice etc etc. basically I need some sort of p46 like what you get when your employed to say how much I earnt last year and the year before.

I have the year before lasts from the accounts. But last year I used a different accountant, who I have now found out is dead. He did my accounts and passed me everything back but I can't find any report. Which I know I had.

So is there some way I can speak to HMRC and get them to send me this information. I've looked at their website and can't see where to go. But my heads all over the place sorting this out and it may be right infront of me but I can't find it.

Also I need a sa302 form which I can't seem to find how to get on their site.

HELP A BROTHER OUT. PLEASE :)

Call 0844 474 010 which is your local tax office. Just give them your 10 digit tax ref or NI number. They should be able to send you the info but they are not always the quickest pal.

dont panic !! dont panic !! ;)

dont panic !! dont panic !! ;)

Thanks :)

im trying not too, but its frightening. Hopefully I get the mortgage I need, the advisor reckons my options are slightly limited as I need three years accounts but I only have two at the minute. But she seems rather positive that some bridges may be able to be crossed based on my earnings this year. Plus the fact I have a decent deposit.

Ill feel alot better when I have all the info I need from HMRC and this years books are up to date and I can show her what I will potentially earn this year.

I would panic, wanting something from the tax office in January :)

Hope you get it sorted.

Or you could show her what you was gonna show that Gemma bird!

Wouldnt even bother with the tax office absolute nightmare to sort anything with them ,if you have a current accountant get them to do it believe me will be less hassle . Also it wouldn't surprise me if you have three years worth of books then they will probably ask for five with each year showing an increase .

Thats what i had to do and after i showed them five years i then had to prove each penny and where it came from , its a mare to get any loan these days if your a subbie .
