honeywell 2 port

replaced a honeywell 2 - port actuator today, the valve/blackball bit moved very easily so I didn't change the valve body.
strangely I only replaced the actuator off the original valve around 2 years ago.
The custard had the system put in approx. 6 years ago, so in 6 years we are now on actuator no 3.
The guys not complaining, I am just very curious, and think something may have caused it.

Any ideas chaps ??

What had failed on the actuator just the motor?

hi Roger, motor, and motor first time round, weird isn't it. I have a load of Honeywell 2 ports and never use any other type, in fact I swear by them.

Too close to boiler and too much heat. Wouldnt have thought so though. Maybe no 2 was a monday morning actuator
