How is the above (wired type) installed in a normal? S plan where the room stat(s) are fed from the programmer so a switched live, does the Honeywell have batteries as I think I've read that it needs a permanent live. Two wire stat presently installed.
 
Thanks for that, I have a oil fired boiler (which cycles on/off anyway) so may install the Honeywell, once I know that the Live doesn't need to be permanent as it's supplied from the CH programmed on/off times.
