Hi there. My hot water and radiators are too hot. I've also noticed that when my heating is switched off and the water comes on that one of the radiators gets warm. Any ideas?

Back in the day one rad would be piped in with the hot water so that towels could be dried in summer and act as a heat dump for a gravity system - so this could be OK. If a modern house and system then the return from the cylinder has been incorrectly plumbed.

Hi again. I originally started this thread about my radiators and hot water being too hot. Thanks for your replies, but since I posted my radiators have started making a funny hissing noise and there is also a strange noise coming from the boiler. The radiator noise even happens when just the hot water is on! Help?????

Kettling of hot water at the boiler..maybe the hot water pump over running to the cold feed tank! What are the cold water taps like! Okay for cold water.. or are they coming out with warm water?

Like diamondgas suggest. At first. Check boiler thermostat also the the hot water thermostat of the cylinder
Hey!
Good luck
Alternatively get it looked at checked out!
