Have a Worcester Greenstar24i Juinor combi. Suddenly the heating has stopped working. Reset water pressure as was low but no heat.Boiler was making some banging noises last night.Any ideas welcome.

Is the red reset light lit
Have your reset it?

No_Only the green eco light. The light fires up when tap turned on though. Have pressed resset for 10 seconds and nothing. Had similar problem earlier in year no water or heating, and a circuit board was replaced.

Ok. If you press and hold the chimney button on the left. This will show that you have a problem with the controls.

You can use this function to help you for tonight. It will only last 15 min. But you can get a GSR in the morning

No seperate pump.the biler just doesn't fire up when heating turned on. Looks like a heating engineer job.Its only 6 years old and had a few probs in the last year, starting with no water or heat during snow last year, exactly a year ago as it happens. Took 2 weeks for the heating engineers to come a sort if after diagnostics. Aspects.Won't be using them again for sure.

Sound like your from my way

Where do you live?

Its still got a pump though

Doubt pump. Hws is working and it is internal

Have you done the test by holding the chimney sweep button

I guess my ignorance ref.Heaters is why I am on here. There is no visible pump as far as I am aware.
Strangly though, tonight, the heating seems to be working.A further fiddle with the thermostat, so wonder of problem is there. Will run it a while and see what happenes. Thanks for response.
