Hi all
Woke up this morning, went to the bathroom and ran the hot water tap, result, plenty of hot water.
Went down stairs and tried the kitchen hot gap and all I get is cold water. i thought that maybe the boiler had suddenly packed up. So I went back upstairs and tried the taps again and there was plenty of hot water but none downstairs.
tried it it again tonight and still the same. Hot water upstairs, cold water downstairs.
I do get some warm water if the central heating is on but not very hot. As I turn on the tap in the kitchen I've noticed the water light is not coming on. Turn on tap upstairs and the light comes on and you can hear the system kick in.
I have a combi boiler which is located about 5 feet from my kitchen sink.
I installed a new mixer tap about 12 months ago and have had no problems.
I think that there might not be enough pressure going to the tap but only a guess.
Any thoughts please???
thanks
