first timer with a hot water/heating problem

Hi everyone first timer here with a bit of a problem. I hope someone can help? recently when I turn my heating on my tap water is getting hot when i have seperate controls for my hot water! I have a gloworm boiler in the kitchen and a mega flo water tank upstairs I have tripped the fuse for the imersion heater just incase that was on for some reason but has made no difference. I know its getting hotter when heating is on as i ran all the hot water out of the tank last night and this morning it was still cold but then whe i turned the heating on the water soon got hot it also seems to be affecting the heating as its taking longer for all the radiators to get to there normal temperature also the tap water is at a scalding temp not so good with a infant wanting to wash hands! can anybody help? many thanks in advance for those that may be able to help.

what set up do you have ? a mid position valve or two 2 port valves ? the valve could be sticking open, or you may have an electrical fault in programmer/ cylinder stat/ valve etc

just googled the valve and its sunvic and looking at the pictures online it looks like I have two 2 port valves. I dont know which is which and i dont know what possition they should be in! I hope this helps

As mentioned previously it sounds like the hot water valve is allowing water through constantly. It could be something as simple as changing the head or may mean replacing the whole valve! It depends on what you find on inspection... Can you take any pictures of the valves in question and post them up here?
