Discuss Hot water in toilets in the Boilers area at Plumbers Forums

I have recently moved into a rental property and 3 toilets on three different floors are connected to the combi boiler, it fires up each time one is flushed and the taps are round the wrong way as in the cold tap has hot water and vice versa, what could be the cause of this?

The cause is it’s plumbed in wrong. Should be cold mains feeding toilets. Taps should be hot on the left and cold on the right.
Perhaps two different firms did the first and second fix and the second didn’t bother checking what was what.

Easy way to tell turn the cold off at the boiler open the hot tap until it stops and flush a toilet does it refill no piped wrong
