2 months ago we had our bathroom fitted out with new fittings including thermo shower mixer (not large head), new twin shower pump to replace the old existing one. The hot water cistern is 8 months old and has a surrey flange fitted. The cold water tank in the loft was not changed.
2 weeks after the work finished the hot water pressure dropped gradually over a week or so to a trickle. I put a hose down the outlet in the tank to the cistern and ran mains water with all hot taps open. This improved the water pressure but has turned out to be only a temporary cure as the pressure is now dropping again.
Going by an old water mark in the tank the water level has dropped about 10cm. I tried to adjust the float but couldn't.
Before I call the plumber back, I welcome any thoughts and advice on this problem.
