Hot water wc?

Was at a little job today just had to change a leaking service valve on a wc in a commercial premises! Noticed that when the the pipework was drained down the back end of it was hot water? Any clues why this is?

Possibly just hot and cold water pipes making contact somewhere and transfering heat

hot and cold pipes running side by side, had one on a loo a few weeks ago, at first thought silly boy had installed wrong till i found the pipes!!!!!!

i've got a cold tap at home which often comes out hot to begin with for same reason.

can you imagine the smell of a nice steamy hot toilet? would be a bad idea.

Yeah wasnt boiling hot so I guess u all right that hot and cold taps cuddling eachother
