Hot water

Hi there I'm new to the plumbing forum and I have a question about my hot water. I have a baxi combi boiler and the hot water takes a long while to get to the taps I have had the d h w heat exchanger out and give it a long soak in decaler but it was relatively clean. once the the water is running it's lovely and hot thanks DAVE
