Thought I would start a post on how we all coped during lockdown mentally and physically , personally I didn't find it to bad I volunteered my services to the local elderly people in my area shopping, picking up their medication transport to appointments , repairs and garden work, with caring for their needs and a few emergency jobs and breakdowns the weeks went by quickly , regular walks along our local beaches and in countryside kept us sane the good weather helped as we could get jobs done at home and in the garden, I have a elderly mum who lives alone who didn't cope so well 8 weeks in mentally it pushed her over the edge and I had to get her and bring her to stay with us for 2 weeks for some TLC , right or wrong it definitely helped her and I have now been able to take her back home, I am now back working and ache from head to toe🥴😂 with a shower room upgrade and 3 bathrooms booked in and smaller jobs coming in regularly. The wife is still furlowed till mid July but as long as the sun's shining she happy we have kept well and healthy so are very fortunate hope you're all rebuilding and can getting back to some sort of normality soon . Kind regards kop

I am not starting back til july
Been looking after my 2 year old while my other half works from home.
He has been a bit bored on occasion but I have had a great time and am not looking forward to working again.

In all honesty, wife and kids have been at home for 2months
School started for them last week and also my wife went back to work for 3 days.

Me...haven't stopped.
I'm going into self induced lockdown after this week for a couple of weeks - only on the days that my wife is working!!!!

Went back to work on Wednesday in an empty hall. Got home to a letter telling me to shield until 30th June. Stuff that, no help off of government apart from council tax rebate and 300 a month universal credit. Plus still fighting on with Barclays for a bounce back loan.
Nearly 4 weeks of no internet, thanks Sky!!
Next couple of days alone in a cottage finishing off some work then empty van and conifer trees to move from front garden.

Biggest gripe....... couldn't fasten my work trousers last Wednesday, wifes done a lot of cooking over the last 10 weeks 🤣🤣🤣 anybody seen a cheap second hand exercise bike ????
