The picture is the new tap but i have noticed the ends are screw type nuts, How can i connect these to the water feeds and what will i need. Any help appreciated, Sorry to sound stupid.

Easy mate this will fit straight on top of the isolation valves you will also need the horseshoe clip and small backnut and washer it should have come with ...instructions?
also it should have come with a lead weight?

1/2" male iron. And get a bucket to put underneath the tap , every time you put the wet hose back in the water drips below !

So true and you may get callbacks about it " leaking" so tell the customer that the water trickles down the hose if they have just done the washing up.

Well bang some iso valves on then and add these to the top. might aswell .

imho and experience put that tat in the bin and buy a real tap

Id check your household insurance, chinese tat bound to burst and flood the place imho

If you use Iso valves don’t tighten to tight as the chamfer will cut into the washer... use M/iron to copper (it has a flat seating) you might need chk valves if not already incorporated into tap...

i prefer the catering type taps but smaller and suitable for kitchens

Not got one in my house tho

You will need the lead weights for the hose and i would prefer to have isoaltion valves on it should any probs arise

Well i wish i would of listened earlier, Installed it and had slight leak coming from Tap/shower hose - at first i was convinced it was just water running down the pipe as it was only happening when the taps where in the open possition but now it seems to be flooding out, it seems to be flushing out the sides of the metal flexi pipe and when i push the pipe up it seems to slow down, the hose has somekind of massive hole in it... Anybody any idea where i can get one...its not like a normal hose it has a male end on one end

put in a standard mixer tap and purchase a washing up brush, these copies of comercial taps are a waste of time and money

Best thing to do is take it back to wherever it came from and tell them the problem they should replace or refund.
